About Me

My name is Mustafa Masud Shorish and I am studying Film and Digital Art at The Millennium Universal College (TMUC). I’m an avid photographer and have enrolled in this undergraduate degree to further polish my skills and to be able to broaden my spectrum regarding my career choices. I've also used other interests of mine and merged them with the work that is assigned to us in this degree in order to make it more appealing and as fun as possible.

My inclination towards media is not only a hereditary gift but a deep-rooted family legacy. My grandfather, Agha Shorish Kashmiri, an exemplary journalist, orator, writer and poet of his time, was acclaimed throughout the Pakistan-India sub-continent. Both my parents graduated in journalism before pursuing media careers. It was when my father joined the electronic media, that I started developing an interest in journalism. Catering to my interest, sometimes he let me be a part of the production team of a television series about social issues. It gave me an opportunity to observe the systematic process of effective digital storytelling.

In conclusion, by aspiring a career in Film & Digital Art, I wish to learn the latest traits and trends, usage of various tools and avenues as well as the do's and don'ts of this industry. To fulfill these goals, gaining theoretical and practical knowledge and expertise will greatly help to brace myself for the futuristic world of digital media.
